依等級分：電鍍→包金→套金→K金

電鍍 (gold-plated)：SGP(鍍金)、WGP(鍍銀)、K18、K14、KP、KGP、KG、GP、EGP等

包金 (gold-filled) ：GOLD FILLED 80 Microns、14K GF 等。

套金：Cap Gold，比包金較高級的做法，常見於早期的Grand Seiko，以及少部分的King Seiko

K金：高級錶款，一般以18K較常見，也就是75%含金量

鉑金：Platunum 縮寫Pt，Pt其後的數字代表所佔比例的部份，EX：Pt900 / Pt950 /Pt999。
